Brookswood Charity Highlight

Here at Homelife Benchmark Realty, community means a lot to us!

Personally, I am a big believer in giving back to the community…Especially when it comes to education, which is so close to my heart!

Unfortunately, not everyone has access to free education. 

This year, I am contributing to two bursaries for Brookswood Senior Secondary, which is an investment in the future of the community here in Brookswood. Someday in the future one of these students may be a doctor that saves us or an electrician that fixes our home.  

Of course, I also like to donate to other charities in Langley.

More specifically, mental health for our youth (Langley Youth Hub). Now more than ever, kids today are going through tough times with anxiety, depression and a number of other mental health struggles and a little help can go a long way.

Another great non-profit organization I like to donate to and support is the Isthar’s Women’s Resource Centre here in Langley. Where their mission is to honor, embrace and empower all women and eliminate violence against women locally.

I believe it’s important to contribute to these charities. It creates a safe space for those who are struggling and lets people know that the community is there to help.

I am thankful for the clients and the business that I’ve done over the past few years here that allows me to give back to my community. 

So, when you’re working with me, either buying or selling, you can know that I give a portion of my income right back into these charities! Which means YOUR investing in this community as well.
